FAQ's

How long do you shoot for the day?

I normally start shooting with the morning preparations, primarily covering the Bride and Groom where possible.

I continue right through to the evening celebrations and the first dance.

Are you insured?

Yes, absolutely. For peace of mind for both of us. I have full photographer's insurance including £5 million

Public Liabilty and Professional Indemnity.

We're camera shy, can you help?

Absolutley, and this is more common than you might think. When it comes to the couples' shoot, I let you be 100% yourselves. Afterall, it is about capturing the connection between you and your love. I won't ask you to pose

or smile on command. I will give you the space and opportunity to just be yourself with one another,

leaving me to capture every moment.

Do you take formal photographs?

Yes, and I aim to do this as quickly and efficiently as possible, leaving you maximum time to spend with family and friends.

A shot-list provided beforehand is always very handy to ensure that this is completed efficiently. The group shots are an important way of making an accurate record of people who were at your special day, so it's worth doing.

What gear do you use?

I'm a Canon user. I am currently shooting with 2x Canon 5D MKIV. For lenses, I use a 24-70mm and 70-200mm

as the workhorses. This gives me maximum flexibilty to capture all that I can on the day. I also have a 100mm macro

for the really close up details and a super wide 16-35mm to capture the landscapes of the day.

When will we receive our photos?

Normal turnaround is 6-8 weeks, often sooner.

Where are you based?

I live in Newbury, Berkshire. Lovely part of the UK! You should visit sometime. That said, I do travel all round the UK capturing weddings, so I am ideally positioned to get around the UK!

Do you charge for travel?

All travel in the UK is included in the price. If driving over two hours from Newbury in Berkshire, then an additional expense

for a B&B will be incurred to ensure that I am at the location on the day without any problems.

If you have any further queries just give me a call.

Can I see some full galleries of your weddings?

Absolutley, I encourage this so you can fully get a sense of how I capture a typical day. If you haven't already,

check out the featured weddings by clicking here. If you want to see more, then please get in touch

and I would be happy to share some more examples.

What if you're unwell on the day?

I've never missed a wedding to date, but if the worst should happen, I have a network of talented photographers

who I can call on and trust to ensure your day is covered.

How do we book you?

To secure your date, I'll send you a wedding contract to read through. Once you are happy and have completed

and returned the contract, along with the £300 deposit, the date is secured.
